This Custom designed Asian reproduction 6 Drawer chest was designed using some details that were copied from other antique Chinese pieces we have had in the past.

Most notable is the unusual carved deer shaped feet, which is style found in many cabinets from the Gansu region of China.

The case of this chest is finished in a beautiful green with a slight worn antiquing effect and a light coat of glazing to give the piece a natural aged look. There are hand painted pictures of black bamboo shoots on a parchment colored background on the drawer fronts, that also receive some antiquing.

This beautiful piece is constructed using the same styles and methods that an original antique piece would have. It has all solid wood except for the back and drawer bottoms, which uses all real wood plywood. There is no particle board or hardboard used anywhere on this piece.
