This Chinese Altar table has a slightly more contemporary style than a traditional antique table. The plank top has a very plain straight front edge with unique shaped flanges on each end.

The apron below the top is a very simple and is similar to the humpback stretcher below it. The apron does gracefully curve around carvings on the inside and outside of the legs.

The fronts of the legs have a more typical design, but they are unusual in the way the front legs are angled outward towards the front and the rear legs angle toward the back. This is much more visible when viewed from the ends.
