60 inch Repro Black Console Sofa Hall Table Antiqued Finish

Beautiful 60″ Long Antique Finish Black Carved Console Table

This Reproduction Console Table has a single plank top with curved ends and a very simple edge detail.

There is an intricately carved apron that features an antique style roman acanthus leaf pattern.

The front legs are a cabriole style with leaf carvings on the knees. The rear legs are straight.

There is a low flat shelf between the legs supported by a straight stretcher on all sides.

We had this piece custom finished with a 3 step process. In the first step much of the piece was painted with a custom blended pale green. Then the entire piece received 2 coats of black. Then the piece was carefully worn on the high edges tho show some of the green color in also worn through in spots to the bare wood. Finally the entire pieces was hand rubbed with 3 coats of an antique glazed poly in a soft matte sheen.
