This nice pair of Antique Chinese Tea Tables can be used as end tables or bedside cabinets.

Each table has a flush panel top with a nice molded edge detail. There is a flat recessed waist below the top. Below the top in an open area with a shelf. There is a carved fancy frame around the opening on each side. Below the shelf is a single drawer with a flush front (drawers have been rebuilt). The sides and back have a recessed panel similar to the drawer front. There is a simple apron on all sides below the drawers.

The legs, which are also the corner posts of the frame, have a slight taper and bead detail on the inside edges. The horizontal pieces of the frame have a similar bead detail on the edges. The feet have a carved block scroll design with an unusual carved detail on the outside edges. There is typical wear and some missing carvings on some of the feet. The 2 rear feet on one of the tables have been replaces as can be seen in the photos.

Although these tables are a little rustic they are very charming.
