This  antique Asian cabinet has a flush panel top that is flush with the front and  sides, and overhangs slightly on the back. There is a pair of doors in the center with a single door on either side. There are 3 small drawers set into the bottom apron. The cabinet is fairly simple in design other than the unusual carved feet.

We have refinished this piece in a beautiful antiqued grey. We started with a base coat of a rusty orange. On top of that we applied a soft, pale grey. We then added some wear on the edges and on the flat surfaces. This exposed some of the orange and some of the wood below. Last we applied a darker glazing over all the painted surfaces. Most of the glaze was rubbed off, leaving just enough to add to the antique look.

Because this cabinet is slightly lower in height than most pieces that are typical of this style, it would make a very nice double vanity with raised vessel sinks. It is also great for the foot of a bed or under a window.

The pale grey finish blends easily with other colors.
