4 Carved Antique Chinese Doors Room Divider 21″ x 82″ Tall each. This set measures approx. 86-1/2″ wide when open flat.

Set of 4 Folding Antique Chinese Carved Architectural Doors

This wonderful set of antique architectural doors would make an outstanding wall treatment or room divider for a home, a restaurant, or an office.

Each door is divided into 3 sections. The top section is a flush panel with some simple carvings of fruit and floral designs, accented with gold painting.

The outstanding part of these doors are the large center panels that feature intricate pierced carvings. The carved panels are each made from a single board, and the photos show the excellent craftsmanship that went into making them. The carvings are mostly painted black, but include some gold and red floral patterns as well as other gold accents.

The bottoms panels are flush panels, with gold accented designs similar to the upper panels. The bottom of the doors have cutout curved feet and aprons.

The 4 doors are currently hinged together with hinges that allow the doors to fold either way. These doors could easily be separated to be used as individual wall accents. This set would also make a great headboard behind a platform bed,

As is typical with  old doors, there are some some shrinkage and cracks in the panels and the doors will show some marks from age and wear.

Except for the pierced carvings, the doors are mostly finished in a reddish brown. The back side is finished in a darker brown.

Architectural doors like this are getting very difficult, if not impossible to find. Don’t let these get away!
